Alleluia Cafe

As long as I can remember, we've been going to Alleluia Cafe since I was still in grade school. I will admit that I haven't been back to eat there in a while so when my sister suggested Alleluia the other day, I didn't object. Alleluia is still located in the same place as it was several years ago by Westminster Highway. This place is always packed especially on weekends and weeknights, not only that, parking may also be a challenge since the place is located in a small area along with two other restaurants. Service may be on the low side depending on how busy the place is but for a place like this, are you really expecting amazing service similar to how a 5 star restaurant would have? I don't think so. If you take out the waiting, service and parking aspects of this place, I could give you a couple of reasons as to why I think Alleluia is such a good place to go for cheap HK style food.
1. They are very reasonably priced
2. They give free refills! (esp for their iced lemon tea! which I love btw)
3. You don''t have to pay extra for cold drinks like in most HK style restaurants
4. Portions are big
5. There are so much more dishes to choose from compared to other places.

Because of these five reasons, hopefully this would give you all the more reason to give this place a try (If you still haven't been here yet)
Iced Lemon Tea and Iced Lemon Coke
 Chinese Herbal Soup
 Cream Soup
Mix & Match Special: Ox-Tongue and Short Rib on rice with mushroom sauce
Mix & Match Special: Deep Fried Pork Chop and Curry Lamb Shank on rice with mushroom sauce
Fish Fillet and Tofu in Satay Sauce on Rice - The fish fillet is actually fried but there's more fried coating than fish meat

Fish Fillet in Sweet Corn Sauce on Rice - The fish fillet is also fried which also means more of the outer coating and not much fish
Mix & Match Special: Fish Fillet and Curry Lamb Brisket on Rice
Baked Minced Beef with Macaroni & Cheese - So big it could feed 2-3 people!
